Reflecting on Computex Taipei and the Exciting Journey Ahead

Computex Taipei is Asia’s largest tech event, and this year’s event truly lived up to its reputation with big launch announcements, like AMD’s new laptop processor made for generative AI workloads; a new round of PC, datacenter and AI chips from Intel; and several from Nvidia, including its next-generation “Rubin” chips, its PC and gaming apps assistant, and a suite of AI technologies designed to create lifelike digital humans for game and platform developers. And that’s just the beginning…

Stability AI was honoured to be featured alongside our partners at the event, sharing the AMD stage with some of the brightest minds in tech and AI. During the keynote, our co-CEO Christian Laforte announced that Stability AI will be launching Stable Diffusion 3 Medium, our most sophisticated image generation product to date, later this week.

Collectively, we are pushing the boundaries with next generation AI.

Accelerating Our Mission

Stability AI’s mission has always been to make AI cost-efficient and accessible for everyone, and the Computex event reinforced that path. Here are a few standout themes:

  • Rapid Innovation: The speed at which technology is evolving is incredible. This event showcased just how quickly AI is becoming as pervasive as the internet.

  • Comprehensive AI Ecosystem: Building a robust and integrated AI ecosystem is key, and collaboration across industry leaders and the developer community is essential for its success.

  • Democratising AI: Making AI technology accessible to everyone isn’t just a goal—it’s a necessity.

It's clear that the next evolution of AI technology is upon us, and we are eager to continue collaborating with our partners to push the envelope of what’s possible.
