API Price Update

We are making a few changes to our API services. These changes will help us maintain high-quality service while investing in new capabilities that benefit our users.
What’s changing:
Service deprecations: We will be discontinuing two API endpoints on July 24, 2025:
Stable Video API
Stable Diffusion 1.6 API
Pricing updates: We're increasing the pricing for select API services to better reflect their value and support continued innovation. These changes will take effect on August 1, 2025

Please review the table below to see the API Pricing that will take effect on August 1. API usage is based on credits; you can see the current pricing and learn more about how pricing works here. You can contact support if you need help estimating your new costs based on how you use our APIs.
We also offer custom pricing for enterprise users, with bulk discounts available. Contact our sales team to discuss volume-based pricing options that might be available for your usage levels.

What Stable Diffusion 1.6 API users can do next:
For users currently using the SD1.6 API, we recommend migrating to Stable Diffusion XL, which offers significantly improved output quality while maintaining the same pricing structure as SD1.6.
We also encourage taking this opportunity to upgrade to the latest tools. The Stability AI API has a range of additional image generation offerings to explore:
Stable Image Core: Optimized for fast and affordable image generation, Stable Image Core is the next-generation model following SDXL.
Stable Image Ultra: Our state-of-the-art text to image model based on Stable Diffusion 3.5.

What Stable Video API users can do next:
While Stable Video will no longer be available via API, you can still deploy the model in your environment with a Self-Hosted License.
